The ICPA board of directors unanimously approved the nomination of Derek Hill, Sales Manager for Syn-Mar Products in Ellington Connecticut, to fill the manufacturer seat on the ICPA Board of Directors being vacated by Scott Byers. The board would like to thank Scott for his service to the association and the industry.

Derek is third generation at Syn Mar Products, the largest cultured marble manufacturer in New England. and is currently the Outside Sales Manager for Syn-Mar’s entire geographic footprint including New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Derek has facilitated round table discussions at POLYCON, and his family has served the association for many, many years.

Derek is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a degree in Business Management, and an MBA from Fisher University.

Derek has a great deal of expertise and experience with marketing using social media platforms. He will be joining the Marketing Committee as they develop and improve the marketing campaign, Live Grout Free, to promote cast polymer products.
