Congratulations to our newly elected members of the ICPA Board! First, the association would like to thank the following board members that have served the association so well, particularly in this transition year and had the vision and determination to Move Forward with Forward Thinking! The late Royce Newsom of Venetian Marble, John Webster of Monroe Industries, Dick Higgins of HK Research, and Craig Abner of Advanced Plastics. Thank you all for your commitment to the association and its members!

On May 5th, 2016 nomination forms were sent out to the association membership. In accordance with the ICPA bylaws and election guidelines, the following nominees names were submitted by the membership and were unanimously elected to serve on the Board for a two year term:
Luke Haas, Elite Marble, Manufacturer Director Bobby Medlin, Majestic Kitchen & Bath, Manufacturer Director Larry Branan, The RJ Marshall Company, Supplier Director Sean Jacobs, ACS Intl, Supplier Director Ken Legenza, Interplastic Corporation, Supplier Director Congratulations to all these new Board members and much appreciation for their willingness to volunteer their time to support and grow the association and the industry! They will begin serving their term beginning July 1, 2016.
More information about each of these new Board members will be included in next month’s ICPA Insider. As was announced at POLYCON 2016, Bill Sanders owner of Alamo Marble will serve as our next Board President. Also remaining on the Board will be Dirk De Vuyst, owner of Intl Marble Industries, who will continue to serve as Board Secretary and Treasurer. Todd Werstler, owner of Tower Industries, will continue to serve as Immediate Past President and Ken Lipovsky of Reichhold will continue to serve as Supplier Director and Technical Committee Chair.
