Attendees were “blown away” at POLYCON Chicago 2018!

Record attendance – over 175 attendees from close to 100 companies.

For the first time there were FOUR Platinum Sponsors at POLYCON – Composites One hosted the Welcome Reception. Polynt-Reichhold hosted the evening cocktail reception prior to the event dinner. The RJ Marshall Company hosted a delicious lunch buffet and Interplastic hosted the all-day break kiosk for the general session on Thursday.

2018 had plenty of sponsors and exhibitors. The exhibit floor opened at 7:30am to a full crowd and remained open and busy throughout the day.

A packed Agenda – The general session and exhibit floor was held at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, Illinois just outside of Chicago. As in the past the general session began with an association update by ICPA board members, reporting the membership growth and the strong financial state of the association. John Schweitzer, of the ACMA spoke to attendees on current regulatory developments critical to the industry. The afternoon was filled with breakout sessions, workshops and round table discussions. Attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner on Friday evening with association awards. One of the highlights of POLYCON 2018 was the food! Everything was delicious and the staff was very courteous and professional.

The Friday Plant demonstrations were well attended and held at Marble Works plant owned by Tom Wienckowski.
